The Future. . . I'm sick of it already.
I dont know about any one else. But i Hate every one telling me things over and over. This especially annoys me when its about studying and how much the person knows me like "I could tell you all day and you will say you will but you wont". What is that? If its reverse psychology its the worst yet. What doesn't my family expect me to do well?
I'll say this... I hate people that try and create a "safe-net" for you in-case you dont get to where you want to go. You know what that tells me? The are either jealous that i'm going to go where i want to go or that they have tried their hand at they're dream but failed. So they want to hold you back just in case you dont get there. I am determined. I am going to get to where i want to go. I will look back on my life where every one thought i would fail and say "yes i did it".
why is things always so negative? "your not", "but you wont" and my favorite "and what happens when you fail at it?" There is never any positive things. I dont ask for much, ever, but simple support from now and again i shouldn't think would hurt. If people haven't made their dream then they should try their best to help other people.
I had the same treatment as a child. When i found out what a lawyer was i wanted to be a lawyer. But what was i told? "Oh you have to be very smart to be a lawyer" and when i thought about the Police "nah you dont want to go there" and a soldier "you couldn't hack it, you'd be knackerd after you got there". Those are careers. I remember when i wanted to be the fastest some thing... i can't remember but lets say it was a cyclist. Some a grand-parent said "theres always some one faster".... what kinda motivation is that?
Well this really pissed me off.... I'm sick of it. What happened to faith? Or general supporting your family? The more it gets to me, what Alfie Cheyne said at the prize giving makes more sence. He said " the area has great talent. Its the mood of the area""I'm fae Banff, I'm niver gettin ony where""" which is not true. I've got my mind set on what i want to do.
People dont get nothing if they do nothing. I put every thing aside so i get better at what i do so i wont be a 30-40+ year old giving my son a lecture on how to pick a career and stick with it.
I know what i want. I know how to get it.

Yeah my Form Spring has been going a lot lately but any way on to more pressing matters...
As you all know i'm putting videos of me playing Metallica on YouTube in order. One problem I've encountered over the past day or two is that my video of To Live is to Die & Dyers Eve in one will not upload. Now i have recorded Battery, Master of Puppets, The Thing That Should Not Be and Sanitarium. These cant go up until the ...and Justice For All album is done. This is really frustrating as i want these videos up!!!

If i say i love my peace and quiet.... you might laff if you know me. i dont blame you as my music is always loud! but that why i like my peace and quiet as its a change.... a time to relax and just chill.
I dont mind people having a drink so long as their not too loud and are in my face all the time, ive sorta givin up on the idea of drinking. i was never really in favor of it but now after last night.... nah not for me unless its my Birthday, Xmas or new year and even then i'll take it casual.

Update on thing's. How they are and they're to be
Hi there all. I realise now that people are actually reading my bloggs. Id like to thank you all first before i carry on. If it wernt for your positive feedback then i probably would of stopped. So any hoo with out further delay i shall carry on....
About 2 hours ago i finaly recieved an E-mail back from the collage about my course! They arnt running the course so i was devastated. Im glad that i followd my intuition and decided to follow up on what the progress was as a few people were saying just to leave it as it will get sorted out. If i never looked them up and sent that email i would of thought i was still getting in. Im a relaxed guy so if i feel something is wrong then something must be up. So i applied for Music Studies instead and from there i could work towards a Teaching degree or the sound production HND i was goin to go for any way..... all in due time!
I got Mass Effect 2 in the other day and despite what i said in earlier bloggs i aint gona do a reavie on it. Its good but i have a feeling of slight dissapointment that i cant get rid of when i play it. First play through i have a some what 34/51 achievements and 745 gamerscore i think? All i have to do is clean up on it then im done... i wont have a motivation to play it. Its alot more grittier than the first one and the combat system in the new one is refreshed and much needed but it sort of went a bit too quickly. It was good to see what the second part of the story was and yes i will be getting the third one.... whenever it may be (im thinking 2012?).
Right now in my guitar life i have kind of went away from my creative streak and am trying to get better. Ive been listening to alot of Bach, Mozart and others lately and i'm getting my head round other sounds on the guitar.... experimenting a lot really. Tomorrow is Tuesday and hopefully Mr. Holroyd will fix my guitar.... its kind of... emm.... unplayable? Its giving out a horrible sound and really not fun to play so the SG is getting alot of attention of late!
Social life.... its mainly in school. That include standing about.... taking the piss out of people and going to the pie van. Just now the prelims are goin. I had my English one on Friday which i belive i did very good at and i missed my maths one today.... "snowday".... but there was snow and it said on the website that people that couldnt get in it will be re-scheduled... more time to revise YAY!!!! like i did a whole lot any way... *coff coff*
On the entertainment from i watched G.I Joe today.... believe all the hype when people say IT SUCKS!!!!! its a violation into my DVD collection and it soon will be purged... i felt like god right then. I'm not sure what will be entering my collection next but it'll be good. Same with my CD's. I need to get a few Iron Maidens albums and maybe some Metallica.... im not sure as i've got it on my Ipod!!!! NO BILL GATES I DONT HAVE A ZUNE!!!!!!!! IM NORMAL!!!!!!!! just kidding... but really... zune? Come on.

Yuhp my second so soon...
Life is full of problems as we all see and know. But do these problems ever go away? If so are they not just replaced? or do we just want to sort every thing in our life's until every thing is perfect? Then the question arises "what is perfect" and i answer "a human ideal that nothing can anger or depress the human in question so they live a stress, problematic free life." I find that right now in my life there is problems arising.
My friend that applied to the same collage course to me but at HNC level got a letter for an interview today. This is all good for him but where is mine? Okay the Royal Mail ain't what it was but alot is riding on this... me getting into collage. I don't see my life doing any thing else but music and my friends doing higher levels than me fair enough i will get over it.... i know i ain't the smartest person but in over-all just getting into collage is a "biggie". Every one says i could be famous one day but i'm not convinced that that is true.
I find it tier-some that people some times big me up, not trying to be big headed or any thing, and thats a problem for me as i feel i have to live up to that. I hate it when people big some thing up and it turns out to be absolutely distraught, so when people big me up i try to be the best i can. Since my old band played at the school a few times people seen how good we were and we played a famous Metallica song called "one". I could always play this song but once in front a crowd thats all i was known for. "Jamie go play at mental solo" "Jamie at was so fukin cool you were like didleleedielieldielie" and i just smile and thank them. But this obviously has an ego effect that could not be helped. So when i go on stage people expect great amazing things when i can only do what i can. When you stand back and see all i can do, if every one else sat down and picked up the guitar they could do the exact same thing. It just takes time like every thing else. Its the same in geography. Thats a very simple subject and easy to do in exams because all the answers are there on the paper. But since i remembered the easiest stuff and did not carry on in class i got better marks and people thought i was really good at geography.
During my operation all i did was play xbox... specifically Halo 3. So naturally i got good at it and was better than most of my friends but if they just sat down a few hours at home and stuck it on hard mode they would be just as good. You can clearly see the difference of improvement if they come over for the night. And after a few days the would be rocketing.
Any way with out further a do.... the stresses in life is what makes life an experience. But too much stress can destroy people. I love the fact that i'm in a band with mates but i hate the fact that every thing has to be rushed along... i what some breathe time to do my own thing but that sometimes never seems possible unfortunately. There HAS to be a deadline for SOMETHING and a DATE for THIS AND THAT and we MUST get this DONE before then and WHEN can we start gigging and shows we can play.... just chill the fuck out. If you rush things they will go wrong. I feel that some times that maybe i'm a little chilled out for choosing music as a career but come one... if every thing doesn't go to plan then they will be asking me why. Then i'll have to say.... look you didn't want to take the time to do this and you wanted some ting done right there and then and i got in trouble for not handing in any home work that week because of it. When i do choose my self to push every thing aside for music and spend days writing some of you want to change all my work and all that i sacrificed was for nothing as you have made it your own and i couldn't change a thing about yours.
The joy's eh? well if i ever have problems i look to a few sayings I've been building up over the past while like... "the hardest challenge in life is to be your self in a world where every one is trying to make you be some one else" and "even if your on the right track you will get run over if you just sit there" by this and the thought that i will go onto a better place after i'm done i get through my current problems... thats not addressing any relationship problems but i'll leave them for another time.

My FIRST EVER BLOG!
Hey people who will probly never read this. Im Jamie Sutherland but some people call me Jamie Sudz or just Sudz so feel free to all me what you will. In this first blog my attempt is to tell you all a little about my self and try and not make any spelling mistakes.
I live in MacDuff Scotland across the bridge from Banff... not the one in Canada... and i am currently a student in my sixth year in Banff Academy and WANTING OUT! I've recently applied for collage to do an introduction course on Sound Production and in the later years i will do a HNC and maybe a HND. Plenty time for that. Any hoo i play guitar i a band call Iklwah who to be honest are not big but im goin to try and change that.
If you ever get the chance to meet me im quiet freindly and pleasant to talk to if im in a good mood but some freinds of mine would say that im moody and not i like to complain but i'll try and sort that buy writing on here instead making me a better person.

I love all types of music and am tryin to get a good few hours of world music like drum ensembles and stuff like that just to exersize my music mind into new places.
